Also known as:MCLMCL
B‑cell NHL with t(11;14) → cyclin D1 (CCND1) overexpression; typically older men; often disseminated at dx.
- More aggressive than other indolent B‑cell NHLs and frequently involves GI (lymphomatous polyposis).
- Older male with generalized lymphadenopathy + splenomegaly
- May have multiple GI polyps due to mucosal involvement
- IHC: cyclin D1+, SOX11+ supports diagnosis
- Distinguish from CLL/SLL (CD23+) and FL (BCL2 in follicles)
| Condition | Distinguishing Feature |
|---|---|
| follicular-lymphoma | indolent; BCL2+ follicles |
| non-hodgkin-lymphoma | umbrella category |
- Rituximab‑based chemoimmunotherapy ± targeted agents (BTK inhibitors) depending on stage/fitness
- Mnemonic: 11 to 1 → t(11;14) drives D1 (cyclin D1)
